Description of the 2.5 LT ultrasonic tank

This ultrasonic device is suitable for the mechanical cleaning of all stainless steel instruments (wire cutters, cutter nippers, scraper handles, cuticle pusher, brakes, pliers, tweezers, scissors ...) and carbon (cutters for micromotors and turbines) . It is a device certified as a Medical Device, certification is available upon request after purchase.

It has a 2.5 liter capacity and a digital display that indicates the state of operation at all times.

The external structure in ABS is practical, easy to clean and resistant, complete with cover with porthole to inspect the cleaning process.

It is a complete device with the following features:

- various advanced programs that indicate when to replace the cleaning liquid, when the appliance reaches the indicated temperature and when it is in operation.

- 5 different washing cycles

- the heating function

- a deep and powerful 170W cleaning

- automatic shutdown at the end of each cycle

- basket supplied to prevent friction between the objects and the stainless steel walls of the tank and between the objects themselves

- small footprint

The heating function can be activated manually to increase the effectiveness of the cleaning process (65 ° C for 45 min).

The device is also equipped with a circuit protector and a ventilated radiator to protect all the components even after prolonged use.

It can be used with simple tap water or add specific detergents (recommended) for ultrasonic baths such as the Bactisan Surgical or Aniosyme DD1 that have the power to decontaminate and disinfect the instruments thoroughly.

The display of the ultrasonic tank indicates:

Why use the ultrasonic bath also for "simple" instruments?

Manual washing and decontamination of the instruments obliges the operator to carry out a series of steps that are expensive for the time of execution and that subject the same operator to risks of infection due to the various manipulations.

The use of the ultrasonic bath simplifies these steps, accelerates the execution times, improves the cleaning of the instruments, reduces the handling phases and, working independently, gives the operator extra time.

A very good detergent and deep disinfectant procedure for the instruments consists in the use of the ultrasonic tank and the specific disinfectant product. In fact, ultrasound creates violent vibrating waves that break the cell walls of microorganisms and manage to penetrate even the smallest cavities, thoroughly cleaning any object.

The ultrasonic bath has been designed to wash instruments used in the medical, dental, aesthetic, veterinary fields and all sectors that require ultrasonic cleaning.

The device by ultrasonic cleaning (cavitation) allows cleaning in areas that are difficult to reach with manual cleaning and without the risks caused by handling contaminated instruments. The cavitation effect, generated by ultrasound, consists in the implosion of microscopic vapor bubbles created in areas of low pressure liquid. These very rapid implosions have the purpose and the ability to remove dirt from all surfaces of objects, even those of small cavities or narrow lights.

How to use the ultrasonic tank

Fill the tank with distilled water (possibly heated to about 50 °)

introduce a small quantity (1-5% of the total volume) of specific detergent product and mix everything with the help of a wooden or steel spatula. This last operation is very important, not only to "amalgamate" the solution, but above all to create a good degassing, fundamental for an optimal ultrasound action.

Heating

The device heats the washing liquid. It stops when the set temperature is reached.

Consider that during the ultrasonic cleaning the temperature of the washing liquid increases.
