Disinfection of surfaces, work surfaces, sharp instruments and not classified as medical devices in dental offices, hospitals, nursing homes and private institutions.
1 liter bottle, without nebulizer.
BACTILEMON 2000® is a disinfectant in the clear aqueous solution, colorless and ready to use, delicately scented with lemon-based benzalkonium chloride and didecyldimethylammonium chloride (quaternary ammonium salt) and chlorhexidine digluconate.
The chlorhexidine gluconate in the form of presents positive charge. It is therefore evident that this active ingredient is incompatible with anionic detergents, soaps, emulsifying agents, borates, bicarbonate, carbonates, chlorides, citrates, phosphates, nitrates, sulfates as forms with them sparingly soluble salts. The chlorhexidine salts are inactivated by cork.
Among all the salts of quaternary ammonium, the benzalkonium chloride is the most active as regards the germicidal activity. The alkyl radicals bonded to the nitrogen are linear alkyl chains with 12, 14 and 16 carbon atoms. Being a cationic surfactant has the same incompatibility of Chlorhexidine digluconate. The didecyldimethylammonium chloride is also a quaternary ammonium salt with physical-chemical properties similar to the above but with a slightly different of germicidal action spectrum.
BACTILEMON 2000® has a light fragrance and a neutral pH. Such pH value enhances the germicidal properties of the active ingredients which decrease significantly at acid pH.

The solution, thanks to the presence of sodium nitrite, has no oxidizing power. Its use in its purest form does not involve corrosive effects on metals, plastics and rubber; It does not damage the cutting instruments. For the pH close to neutral, it does not damage the materials with which it comes in contact. The active ingredients, are not absorbed by any type of plastic or elastomeric material (natural and synthetic rubbers).
HOW TO USE
disinfection of surfaces, work surfaces, sharp instruments and not classified as medical devices in dental offices, hospitals, nursing homes and private institutions.
BACTILEMON 2000® is particularly suitable in dentistry and podiatry for the disinfection of surfaces, plastic, plexiglass and vinyl treatment units.
Suitable for the disinfection of dental impressions.
BACTILEMON 2000® finds useful employment also in pan, for the decontamination of medical devices and the aseptic preservation of the same after sterilization.
The solution is ready for use.
Spray BACTILEMON 2000® on the surfaces to be treated and gently rub with a clean cloth and wait at least one minute.
For other medical devices, such as tools and instruments, dip them into the solution as it is and wait at least 10 minutes.
The product is also suitable for washing in ultrasonic tanks of contaminated surgical instruments. To remove the tools from the solution must pick them aseptically.
Excessive disinfection solution can be removed from medical devices, rinsing with sterile water or dry it with a cloth or sterile paper.
