Description of Citrosteril Sterilferri - high level sterilization or disinfection

Citrosil Sterilferri is a liquid based on Glutaraldehyde with a bactericidal, tubercolicidal, fungicidal and virucidal action. Also active on HIV and HBV.

It is an ideal MEDICAL DEVICE for rapid disinfection, "cold sterilization" and aseptic maintenance of medical devices such as:

- sharp metal tools (scissors, scalpels, saws, splitters) and of other nature (pliers, hemostats, thermometers);
- rubber or plastic instruments (anesthetic devices, catheters, rubber pads, probes, suction and connection pipes, gloves).

How to use:

High-level disinfection:
pour the product into a special basin and immerse the instrument you want to decontaminate for 10/15 minutes, after having cleaned, rinsed and dried it.

Cold sterilization:
To obtain complete sterilization, pour the product into a special bowl and immerse the instrument, after having cleaned, rinsed and dried it. Keep the material in a bath for at least 3 hours, to be extended to 10 hours if dilution during use and the presence of an excessive quantity of organic material, not adequately removed from the instruments, are feared.

If it is necessary to further accelerate the sterilization (within 2 hours) and / or disinfection (within 5-10 minutes) times, bring and keep the solution at a temperature of 40-45 ° C during the treatment of the material.

Storage:

Storage can take place by leaving the product directly immersed following the disinfection or sterilization procedures described above or after sterilization carried out with other methods such as the use of a dry heat sterilizer.

ATTENTION: do not immerse carbon steel objects for more than 24 hours.
